About Phillip

Phillip Caruso has firmly established himself as a notable agent through his work in Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point. Ranked among the top 1% in Orange County boasting over $500 million in career sales since 2013, he is also named among the Top 250 Agent Teams in California by The Wall Street Journal. 

A second-generation agent, Phillip grew up immersed in the world of real estate, and together with his father, Michael, ran two offices for The Agency all while successfully growing the Caruso Group. Today they are aligning their vision, integrity, design, and development expertise with Carolwood Estates. 

Along with representing buyers and sellers, Phillip’s comprehensive market knowledge derives from years of working with investors to restore and build properties along the coast. “You must intrinsically understand land value, construction, architecture, design-trends, and the complex nature or history of every neighborhood.” 

Phillip often represents developers and clients in the purchase or sale of a home, advising on design and build from inception to completion. At any level, all his clients benefit from an extensive list of renowned professionals in the design and development industry. 

Although experts in the luxury segment, Phillip and the Caruso Group service every price category consistently working with first time buyers, repeat clients, and their referrals. “We like to grow with our clients and their families.” They firmly believe in long term relationships, a white-glove service experience with trusted advisement to all.

A local of Newport Beach, Phillip is passionate about coastal preservation and enjoys working with the Surfrider Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. When he’s not serving his clients in real estate, he cherishes time with his wife, their two children, and their labradoodle. Phillip enjoys the outdoors, golfing, surfing, and playing acoustic guitar. He is a graduate of The University of Arizona, holding a BA in Regional Development & Sustainability and Business Management.
