Shane McCoy Fermelia has a unique and natural understanding of the luxury real estate market in Southern California. “As a Fifth-generation Angeleno, and member of the First Century Families, there isn’t a neighborhood in this city that I don’t know or understand—there is a place for each lifestyle-vision and architectural sensibility.” Shane has sold homes in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, Cheviot Hills, Brentwood and Pacific Palisades and represented homes designed by legendary architects, among them John Byers and John Elgin Woolf.
Editorial posts, early in her career, at magazines, among them Vanity Fair and Distinction Magazine at the Los Angeles Times, led to her Senior Associate Editor position at Architectural Digest, where she honed her architectural-eye and further developed her love of writing, design, architecture and photography. Shane’s Real Estate career is a true culmination of a lifetime of experience. “Every aspect of a Real Estate transaction uses a skill I’ve developed and enjoy applying—from my dedication to clients, to marketing a property, to understanding and expressing what makes a property unique and what can easily (or not) be changed—I love what I do for my clients.”
Shane is known for her discretion, loyalty and unwavering advocacy for her clients. She holds a BA from Connecticut College and an MPA from USC’s Price School of Public Policy and lives in Beverly Hills with her husband and two sons.
