Born in Japan; however, raised in Seattle, Japan, and LA, Mayu brings her forward and quick-thinking style to the Los Angeles real estate market. Having grown up in major metropolitan cities, she has been exposed to a plethora of aesthetically pleasing architecture, design, and spaces her whole life. Understanding that investing in real estate will probably be one of the largest investments of anyone’s life, Mayu excels at bringing her clients the utmost comfort and ease through this stressful process.

Prior to joining Heather Boyd Properties at Hilton&Hyland, Mayu was on one of the top producing teams at Keller Williams VIP Properties in Valencia, CA. There, she obtained fundamental administrative knowledge as the team’s TC, as well as assisting from start to finish in transactions.

Mayu’s ability to adapt to any fast-paced, dynamic environment landed her on Heather’s Boyd’s team. She occupies a unique position as Executive Assistant to Heather Boyd and Associate Agent on her team. She is well versed in all areas related to paperwork and disclosures, as well as making sure that all timelines are met. Paying close attention to detail and always thinking one step ahead, Mayu caters to the needs of her clients and the team’s. Mayu attended San Francisco State University for 2 years before transferring to Chapman University in Orange County, graduating with a B.S. in Business Administrations with an Emphasis in Entrepreneurship and a Minor in Economics. While at Chapman, she worked with different start-up companies, specializing in PR and Marketing as well as dabbling in some blogging. While these experiences have brought great value to her life, Mayu later decided to pursue her lifelong passion and interest for real estate.
