After rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s death last year, the Los Angeles home he shared with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, is returning to market for $17 million.

The Osbournes bought the circa-1920s home in 2015 for $11.85 million, according to property records. They first contemplated selling the Hancock Park estate before Ozzy’s death, listing it for $18 million in July 2022, then lowering the price to $17.5 million before pulling it off the market.

At the time, they were considering a full-time move to the U.K., where they own an estate in Buckinghamshire, but decided against it, according to Jonah Wilson with Carolwood Estates, who shares the listing with colleague Josh Greer. In 2020, Ozzy revealed that he had been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s disease.

A representative for Sharon didn’t respond to a request for comment. According to the agents, Sharon is currently splitting her time between Los Angeles and the U.K.

The wealthy enclave of Hancock Park is about 5 miles from downtown Los Angeles. The roughly half-acre Osbourne estate has a main house that spans about 10,200 square feet, along with a guesthouse.

The Osbournes spent several years renovating the house while preserving its early 20th-century character and architecture, according to Greer.

In the home theater, signatures of stars who visited the home— including Elvis Presley, Mel Tormé and Natalie Wood— appear above the fireplace. The tradition was started by the home’s previous owner, radio host Frank Bresee, and preserved by the Osbournes, Greer said.

They also renovated the guesthouse and replaced the pool, according to Wilson. Outside, the loggia has a fireplace imported from Europe.

Ozzy helped pioneer the heavy metal genre as a lead singer of the rock band Black Sabbath. Among his most popular solo hits are “Crazy Train” and “Mamma I’m Coming Home.” He and Sharon also starred on the MTV reality show “The Osbournes,” which was filmed at a home they owned in Beverly Hills and sold in 2007.

Ozzy died in July 2025, shortly after his last concert in Birmingham, England, which raised millions for charities including Cure Parkinson’s. He was buried at the family’s estate in Buckinghamshire.

The priciest home sale on record in Hancock Park is a $23 million deal last year, according to Greer.
