Rihanna’s Beverly Hills starter home has sold for $14.9 million.

The seven-bedroom, nine-bath contemporary home at 9152 Janice Place is located in an
exclusive gated community, with stunning canyon views, and it comes with serious star power.

The nine-time Grammy award-winning, Barbadian-born pop star and entrepreneur paid around
$5.1 million for the home in 2011 and then sold it for $7.65 million in 2014.

Two years later, EGOT-winner John “All of Me” Legend and model/cookbook author Chrissy
Teigen paid $14.1 million for the property in 2016.

They lived here with their two kids and Teigen’s mom, Vilailuck, otherwise known as “Pepper
Thai,” during part of the pandemic. But after Teigen got pregnant again, the power couple listed
the home for $24 million in August 2020. It sold a year later for $16.8 million.

Built in 1966, the home has gone through major renovations including upgrades by Legend and
Teigen’s Hollywood interior designer.

At 8,520 square feet, it features 33-foot ceilings, a sculptural staircase and design details like
patterned ceilings from Thailand, oak floors and clay and steel rolled walls.

Outside, the property features a sleek saltwater pool and Jacuzzi, and an outdoor kitchen with a
woodburning oven, a grill and a pergola wrapped in grapevines — all on 0.86 acres.

Inside, the home opens to a foyer that leads to a living room and sitting room separated by a
statement concrete and brass fireplace. There’s also a chef’s kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, a
large home gym, and a movie theater.

The main bedroom comes with a walk-in closet, a spa-like bath and a “glam room.”

The listing was held by Justin Paul Huchel of Carolwood Estates.
